Entertaining is second nature to me. I fondly remember hosting elaborate tea parties as a little girl with a miniature tea set that my grandparents brought me back from a trip to China. Little did they know at the time that this would plant the seed for a lifetime passion for entertaining and travel.

Originally from Southern California, I moved to Nashville in 1999 to pursue a career in the music business. Working in web development and public relations for Sony BMG and EMI was exciting and challenging but after 5 years, it was time for a change.

My passion for hospitality and design never left and I began to dream of creating an event venue that would be truly one of a kind. Not only would the location be special, but I would offer a creative and exciting planning experience for my clients with exceptional products and services from only the very best vendors.

CJs Off the Square was born and we opened our doors for our first event in April of 2005.Within two years, we added the custom print and event design division under the name Williamson County Weddings & Events. My vision for this new venture was to provide the same exceptional planning experience and quality products and services available at CJ's Off the Square to clients hosting an event anywhere.

I live in downtown Franklin with my husband Andrew and our cat, Kitty. When we are not working, you can typically catch the three of us cuddled up on the couch watching 30 Rock, The Office or the latest Netflix. I am a nut for historical fiction (books and movies) and all things Austen and Bronte. I love to travel and my passport is always at hand for a spur of the moment trip to...anywhere!

My mp3 player is full of my favorite Brit rock bands like Muse, Coldplay, and Snow Patrol and I am addicted to Rhapsody. I find endless creative inspiration from event designers Preston Bailey, Colin Cowie, Sasha Souza, Tara Geurard, and of course Martha Stewart.
